Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your mental health services if you do not have insurance or choose not to use your insurance to pay for care.
Under federal law, healthcare providers are generally required to provide uninsured and self-pay clients with an estimate of the expected charges for scheduled, non-emergency services.
What you should know
You can request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling services or beginning treatment. The estimate will outline the services that are reasonably expected and their anticipated cost.
When required by law, you will receive your Good Faith Estimate in writing within the applicable timeframe before your scheduled services.
A Good Faith Estimate is based on the services and treatment schedule anticipated at the time it is prepared. Your actual treatment needs may change, which means your final charges may be different from the original estimate.
Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the bill through the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
If you have questions about your estimated costs or would like to request a Good Faith Estimate, please contact True North Mental Health Therapy, PLLC before scheduling or beginning services.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments ("no-shows"), will be charged the full session fee.
Please note that insurance companies do not reimburse for missed appointments or late cancellation fees. As a result, any applicable cancellation fee is the client's responsibility and must be paid before scheduling future appointments.
If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time to avoid delaying other clients. The full session fee may still apply.
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact the practice as soon as possible by emailing info@truenorthmentalhealththerapy.com.
Thank you for helping maintain a schedule that allows timely access to care for all clients.
